Eguie Castrillo teams up with friends Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 to bring Latin jazz standards to life. The concert, "Latin Meets Jazz," begins at 8:15 p.m., at the Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Ave., Boston. An associate professor at the Berklee College of Music, Castrillo and his 18-piece orchestra will be joined by guest vocalist Didi Stewart and rising drum prodigy Pablo Pena.
